I feel like I should share this
just so people realize that we women do realize this.
So a couple days ago my sister and I were talking and someone said something about me raping my fiance (as a joke.)
Little sister: “You can’t rape him!”
Fiance: “You’re right Cait, you can’t rape the willing.”
Little sister: “No, he’s a guy, you can’t rape a guy.”
Me: “Not true. Women can rape men. It does happen.”
And that, dear followers, is a fine example of raising awareness, educating about consent, AND showing disapproval for rape jokes.
